For a couple whose entire relationship has revolved around elegance, class and love, Kimberly and Morgan made sure their big day incorporated all of those elements.
When Morgan popped the question to Kimberly after 7 years of dating, she was excited to begin the planning process. After setting a date, her priorities included securing the big vendors first, starting with their photographers, Emily + Steven Photography (who are graciously allowing me to use all of their images for this post) and their videographer.
With the help of her wedding planner and Pinterest, Kimberly was able to bring her wedding day vision to life this past October. She described their theme as classic elegance and traditional, but modern; and every detail at their ceremony and reception reflected that.

For their venue, the Lesters chose Morgan’s parents’ property on the river bottom in Northwest Fresno because it’s one of the city’s hidden gems and many of their family and friends had never been able to see it. Because of the limited parking, guests had to be shuttled down to the river bottom, and they were all welcomed there by a giant billboard- a surprise coordinated by Morgan’s mom.
A horse-drawn carriage delivered the stunning bride to the ceremony site. Then, in front of nearly 350 of their closest family and friends, Kimberly and Morgan became husband and wife in a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony.
After sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, the Lesters were ready to celebrate! Guests were welcomed to the elegant soiree with an invitation to get the party started with a cocktail. In the hours to follow, came plenty of dancing (and some surprises too!)
In addition to their exquisite venue, Kimberly says the most memorable things happened during their reception. The couple made their grand entrance with help from Morgan’s brother, who sang to the crowd as they did their first dance. Afterwards, she says she was blown away by Morgan’s speech. She said, “for a man of very few words, he blew everyone away with what he prepared.”
Guests partied the night away on the dance floor and got to indulge in more than just wedding cake. Not only did the Lesters have a beautiful creation by the geniuses at Frosted Cakery, they made arrangements for CREAM to set up an ice cream sandwich bar to the reception. (What a TREAT to have a fourth meal!)
Two months into their marriage, the Lesters are still in awe over the big day that made them husband and wife and are definitely appreciative of all of the love they felt from everyone who attended.
